has a rounded shape and is a fine example of high-quality Italian design. In the former stands the beautiful <strong>Church of San Lorenzo<\/strong>, built by 28 master stonemasons from Gallura. Completed in 2008, it is a highly modern and original building. Its interior features an upturned ship-hull structure adorned with hundreds of wooden figures created by artist Mario Ceroli, representing historical figures connected with Porto Rotondo.<\/p>\n<p>The flooring is particularly striking, featuring the profiles of the last six popes, sculpted in marble and each rendered in a different colour. The southern fa\u00e7ade features a rose window made entirely in Murano.
